"Pick Your Team" 4 Person Scramble with Modified Stableford Scoring

Weeks 10-12 Ryder Cup Format
Week 10 Modified FOUR BALL tournament (Under 49 Blue Tees – Over 50 White Tees)
2 Man BEST BALL Schamble: 2 teams play against one another. Each member of the pair makes his/her tee shot, then the pair chooses the “best” tee shot to play and pick up the other ball. Both players then play their own ball from that point until each player has holed out. The pair then uses the lowest score for the hole (Also known a BEST BALL). The pair with the lowest individual score among all four balls holed out wins the hole and receives 3 points. Losing Team gets 1 point. Ties get 2 points each.
Week 13 – FOURSOMES (Alternate Shot tournament) – Two pairs play against one another. Each pair shall play a single ball per hole and the pair with the lowest score on each hole wins the hole and 3 points. Any hole that is tied gets 2 points each. Losing team gets 1 point. Each team must determine (prior to hitting the first tee shot) the order in which the players in each pair shall tee off for the entire match. Pairs shall not be permitted to individually select particular holes in which a specific member of the pair will tee off. One member of a pair shall tee off on all odd-numbered holes and the other pair shall tee-off on all even-numbered holes.
Week 14, 15 and 16 – Modified TEAM MATCHES - Week 14 we play Black Tees, Week 15 Blue Tees, Week White Tees. Each foursome tees off. Choose the best drive of the foursome (This is the modified part) - then all 4 players play their own ball from that spot. Team that wins the hole gets 1 point. Ties are halved.
Week 17 - Team Scramble with Modified Stableford Scoring and 5 Fairway Game

Week 9
Match Play with 5 Fairway Game (Over 50 Play White Tees, 49 and Under Play Blue Tees)
This is individual play. 1st place plays 2nd place, 3rd place plays 4th place, and so on...
- Match play is where one player plays directly against an opponent on a hole by hole basis. Each player plays for 2 points for each hole. Whoever wins the hole (i.e. whoever has the lowest score on a hole) wins the points for that hole. Ties Split the points.
5 Fairway Game - Put the ball in Fairway you get 5 points
- Ball not in fairway (or Green in regulation) you get 0 Points
- Subtract the number of putts from either 5 or 0 for your total score for each hole.
- Teams earn an extra point for any closest to the hole contests.
- Teams earn an extra point for any putting contest wins.
- Teams earn an extra point for Long Drive wins.
Winning team (based on points) of our first 9 weeks will be the winners of our first half of season!
